Law firm Taylors promotes insolvency partner
North West commercial law firm Taylors Solicitors has announced the promotion of Graham Love to partner within its corporate recovery and insolvency team.
The firm has also announced the hire of solicitor Stuart Beatson, who will also join the corporate recovery and insolvency team.

Guffogg appointed CEO of GA Europe
Retail restructuring specialist GA Europe has appointed Milton Guffogg as chief executive.
Guffogg, former chief executive of Celebrations Group, takes over from departing CEO Gavin George.
Guffogg said: “I am personally very excited to be picking up the baton at this critical stage in GA Europe’s development and look forward to continuing to evolve our creative approach to solving distressed situations.
“We believe the opportunity exists across Europe for us to broaden our service offerings and I look forward to working more closely with our US affiliates to extend the growth of our business.”
Guffogg joined GA Europe in 2010 as chief operating officer and has been involved in a number of high-profile distressed retail transactions.

Property consultants hire new surveyor
Sanderson Weatherall LLP has announced the hire of Edward Jeffery as an associate partner, asset advisory and recovery at the firm’s London office.
With 14 years of experience in the valuation and disposal of real estate assets and the marketing and sale of businesses, Jeffrey will support the team in fulfilling client instructions and requirements, building upon existing relationships and developing new business within insolvency, restructuring and turnaround markets in London and the South East of England.
Prior to joining Sanderson Weatherall, Jeffrey held positions at Edward Symmons and GVA.
Jeffrey said: “We have found that recognised and established insolvency experience, coupled with broad skill sets, are key to securing work in what continues to be a challenging market.”
