ES Group has announced the acquisition of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Machinery & Business Assets (MBA) team.
The acquisition has increased ES Group, comprised of Edward Symmons, Storey Edward Symmons and Aaron Fox, MBA team to 70, the largest in the UK.
Since ES Group’s founding in 1943, the MBA division have been at the core of the business.
Reinforcing the firm’s MBA presence in the midlands, four employees will be based in Nottingham, while one will move to the Leeds office and another four head up to Manchester.
Paul Proctor, chairman of ES Group and director within the London MBA team, said: “We warmly welcome our nine new colleagues to the firm and we are confident that they will fit seamlessly at ES Group, bringing skillsets and a geographical spread that complements our existing MBA offer.”
The united team will cater to the firm’s considerable client base which includes major banks, accountants and insolvency practitioners, and numerous private companies.

The acquisition follows ES Group’s purchase of Devon agency, Aaron Fox in September 2013 and Storeys: SSP, a North East practice, in December 2011.
