Winterhill Largo expands northern operation with new director 27 November 2013

Winterhill Largo, a Manchester-based asset valuation, recovery and outsourcing provider, has appointed Johnny Abraham as director of business development, North.

Abraham will be tasked with developing new and existing relationships and promoting the firm’s services, covering an area from Birmingham to Scotland.

The new director joins Winterhill Largo from a background in corporate recovery and asset-based lending.

Abraham qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC, and most recently worked at Begbies Traynor, specialising in working with asset-based lenders and their clients on structuring assignments.

Speaking on his new position, Johnny Abraham said: “I know that it’s a wide range of services that add tremendous value to its clients across the finance and recovery industries.

“Winterhill Largo’s reputation in the marketplace is second to none and I am excited to be part of the team.”

Neil Duckworth, chief executive of Winterhill Largo, said: “I am really pleased to welcome a colleague of Johnny’s calibre and experience on board.

“He has amassed high levels of expertise in all elements of corporate recovery and asset based lending and I’m sure will add real value to our northern clients.”

Winterhill Largo has continued to expand, having completed multiple acquisitions this year and launched new divisions of the business.

The company’s workforce has grown by 60% since September 2011, while it has increased its presence from having five offices in the UK employing 60 staff, to eight in the UK and overseas with nearly 100 employees.
