Neal joins Gordon Brothers Europe with 30 years’ experience in the valuation and disposal of assets in the corporate recovery and asset-based lending markets.
He joins from Edward Symmons, where he started his career in October 1983 as a trainee Plant & Machinery valuer in London, becoming an Associate in 1999, when he took over the role of managing the Plant & Machinery Department. He became a salaried Partner in 2003 and a Fixed Equity Partner in 2006.
Throughout his tenure at Edward Symmons Neal has undertaken and supervised a wide range of valuations in all sectors including construction, printing, aerospace, plastics, metal fabrication, woodworking, technology and audio & visual, predominantly in the insolvency and lending sectors but also for insurance, balance sheets and private client re-organisation purposes.
Neal is an experienced Auctioneer who has also trained and assisted many valuers who have gone on to have successful careers.
At Gordon Brothers Neal will be joining the newly established Valuation & Corporate Recovery team, led by Gary Quaife, in providing asset valuations and disposal services into the restructuring/insolvency sector and asset-based lending community.
Neal is looking forward to growing the profile of Gordon Brothers Europe, supported by the global presence of Gordon Brothers Group, through both existing and new relationships.
