Adrian Gardner (pictured) is to join the board from PA Consulting where he was chief financial officer, specialising in advice in the IT industry.
The Oxford-educated CFO has had a varied and impressive employment record to date, having previously held the role of CFO at pharmaceutical business ProStraken and managing director at financial services group Lazard before that.
Having left Oxford University in 1984 with an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science, he joined what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor.
Bob Morton, chairman of RSM Tenon, officially welcomed Gardner to the board today through a statement released to market.
He added: “Adrian's experience and insight will help us achieve our major priorities which continue to be working capital reduction, profit improvement and organic development.
“I would like to thank Russell for his commitment and dedication to the business.”
