Two new appointments at Begbies
Mark Whitaker is joining Begbies Traynor as director of business development. Mark joins from Alliance and Leicester where he was business development director. Prior to this he spent 25 years with Yorkshire Bank and headed its corporate operation in Leeds. Mark will be based at Begbies' office in Leeds and will be responsible for developing new business for the company in Yorkshire and the North East.
Len Fawke has also joined Begbies as leader of its pension advisory services team. Len joins from Grant Thornton, where he was a senior member of the national pensions advisory team. He was also head of scheme-specific funding at the Pensions Regulator throughout 2007, where he was instrumental in implementing the regulator’s approach to risk based regulation.
