Insolvency News can this morning reveal the full list of winners for 2015’s I&R Awards, sponsored by Capa.
Returning for its eighth year, the ceremony last night (21 October) at London’s Park Lane Hilton championed the people and companies achieving outstanding work across business rescue and insolvency.
In a year of tumbling insolvency figures across the board, not to mention sweeping changes to pre-packs, transparency rules around fees and much more, the scheme’s finalists and winners demonstrated the ingenuity and expertise that the UK profession has become renowned for.
In addition to the industry’s winners, chosen charity the Children’s Trust saw a remarkable £18,000 raised by the event’s 500+ attendees.
“We are absolutely over the moon with the results from the I&R Awards” said Jane Shufflebotham, fundraising executive for the Children’s Trust.
“The money raised will make a huge difference in helping more children with brain injuries receive the rehabilitation and support they need. We are so grateful for everybody’s support and donations – thank you.”
Fresh from gate-crashing Kanye West’s Glastonbury performance and lobbing cash at disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter, comedian Lee Nelson dished out the awards to the successful entrants, following a stand-up set.
A record-breaking number of entries were submitted for this year’s awards, leaving 142 finalists across all categories after the shortlisting process.
More than 90 individual companies were represented across the shortlist, and the full list of winners can be found here
We would like to thank all of our judges, sponsors, dinner guests, finalists and winners for making the I&R Awards such a successful event.
