The Insolvency & Rescue Awards, sponsored by Capa, are back for the seventh year to celebrate the leading individuals and businesses of the industry.
Held this year at the prestigious Lancaster London Hotel on 1 October, the awards have been expanded to include several new categories.
The 2013 Insolvency & Rescue Awards, sponsored by Capa, saw over 750 insolvency professionals attend the awards which recognise individuals, teams and companies within the industry who have saved jobs, revived businesses and rehabilitated thousands of individuals’ broken finances, and celebrates best practice.
Finalists of last year’s awards helped turnaround approximately 6,257 UK businesses, protecting more than 45,000 UK jobs.
The 2014 awards will cover 25 categories, including new award categories Best Use of Technology, Corporate Recovery Firm of the Year (New Start Ups), Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign of the Year, and Regional Firm of the Year.
Entries for the 2014 awards are now open and details for submissions can be found here. The submission deadline is 30 May.
Stephen Allinson reprises his role of co-chair of judges having served on the panel since 2008.
Allinson, who has 30 years’ experience in the insolvency market, will initially scrutinise the entries which must be received before 30 May.
Commenting on the scheme, Stephen said: “I am delighted and honoured once again to be asked to be the co-chair of the judging panel.
“Last year really saw the awards become established as the premiere event that recognises best practice across all areas of the profession. I am absolutely sure that this year will be even more bigger and better. I do hope that those involved in the profession (in whatever area) will take the time to consider putting themselves forward as there is a huge amount of excellent work being undertaken in this industry and it is right that we seek to showcase it.”
