New restructuring solutions business launched
Former BDO partner and insolvency practitioner, Jo Wright, has launched a Birmingham-based boutique advisory business providing financial restructuring solutions.
De Novo Advisory will specialise in offering advice to financially distressed businesses.
Wright said: “Working within the professional services community in the city for over 20 years, I wanted to bring a fresh approach to corporate restructuring for distressed businesses.
“The banking crisis has changed the way the banks and other funders and investors deal with companies and their management teams in financially tough times.
“Confidence is beginning to grow but as is widely reported, there are at least as many dangers in a recovering economy as in a recession.
“Businesses must have a firm hand on their financial position during any recovery cycle to ensure they are well placed to benefit from changing conditions.”
