Chartered accountancy and business advisory firm Wilkins Kennedy LLP has appointed Louise Brittain as a new partner.
Coming from Deloitte, Brittain has considerable experience as an insolvency practitioner, having previously held positions at Baker Tilly and PwC.
Brittain has worked on a number of high profile bankruptcy cases such as Kerry Katona and Wayne Lineker, and has handled highly complex UK and multinational group insolvencies and asset tracing assignments.
Having previously held the position as a non-executive director of The Insolvency Service, Brittain is also a National Council member for insolvency industry trade body, R3.
Brittain said: “I am highly delighted to be joining such a focused and quality team. I look forward to contributing to the future growth and success of Wilkins Kennedy.”
Dave Fenn, managing partner at Wilkins Kennedy LLP, said: “Louise is a highly experienced insolvency specialist and will be an asset to our growing insolvency department.”
Last month, Wilkins Kennedy announced a successful merger with chartered accountancy firm CW Fellowes Ltd, the fifth deal of its kind carried out by Wilkins Kennedy since 2010.
