AIM listed security firm collapses 8 July 2013

AIM-listed security company Eruma and its subsidiary Security Blinds Limited has entered administration, shareholders were informed today.

Insolvency practitioners Antony Batty and Stephen Evans of Antony Batty & Company were appointed as joint administrators on Friday, according to an announcement to the London Stock Exchange.

In a notice to shareholders, the regulatory reporting service stated that further information would be made available to shareholders ‘as soon as possible.’

The company’s shares had been trading as high as 10.25p over the past year, but had slumped to just 1.6 pence before the administrators were called in.

Investors with further queries on the administration have been advised to contact either Antony Batty on 020 7831 1234 or Liam Murray of Cairn Financial Advisers on 020 7148 7903.

Antony Batty trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse. He has specialised in insolvency since 1987 and was granted an insolvency licence in 1990.

After nine years at Price Waterhouse, he joined Ernst and Young where he specialised in debtor lead turnarounds.

He formed his current firm in 1997 and has overseen its development into one of the leading small practices in London.
