Condies enters insolvency market 7 May 2013

A Scottish accountancy group has confirmed the launch of a new division specialising in corporate recovery and insolvency.

Condies Chartered Accountants announced the launch of Condies Business Recovery and Insolvency Limited today.
Scott Bastick, Graeme Mackay and Shona Maxwell are managing the launch.

George Primrose, managing director of Condies, said he has worked closely with Graeme and felt extremely comfortable in recommending him to people who may have found themselves in financial hardship.

He explained: “To also add both Scott and Shona to the company really is excellent, it means that we can offer all debt relief services to individuals or companies.

“At Condies we pride ourselves on delivering the highest levels of advice and support to our clients and we are looking forward to extending this to our new business.”

Bastick has previously worked for some of the largest multinational accountancy practices and through this time has gained a wealth of knowledge in dealing with individuals and companies experiencing financial hardship. He has also regularly advised financial institutions in relation to existing client facilities.

Mackay previously worked for a corporate rescue and recovery specialist, focusing exclusively on corporate clients and was part of the management of the corporate team.

Maxwell is regarded as one of Scotland’s leading advisers in relation to individuals experiencing financial hardship and debt problems.
Condies was established in the 1920s and has offices in Edinburgh and Dunfermline.

It specialises in advising high-growth SME and owner-managed businesses across all sectors as well as third sector clients throughout Scotland.
