Harrisons has changed its management structure, electing for a “managing director” position to run the entire national partnership.
Paul Walker, previously a director within the business – with responsibility for purely the Hereford and Worcester offices – takes the new role with immediate effect.
A fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA), Waler trained at the Official Receivers’ office before moving into private practice in the early seventies before establishing his own practice, Walker & Company, in 1986.
He joined Harrisons in 2003 and following the acquisition of Hereford-based practice, E Mary Grove & Co, his responsibilities were broadened to include heading up Harrisons Hereford office as well as subsequent operations in Worcester.
Speaking on his appointment, Walker, said he was keen to get stuck into his new expanded role.
He added: “I look forward to the challenge and to delivering our main objective of making Harrisons the most efficient, respected and successful insolvency practice in the country.”
