The dedicated yoga and fitness broadcaster – aired on Sky channel 275 – is looking to be sold as a going concern by administrator Edwin Kirker.
Speaking exclusively to Insolvency News Kirker admitted he is optimistic a sale of the channel would be completed shortly.
He said: "There are several interested parties and we are hoping to complete a sale within the next seven to 10 days.
"At the moment we have two interested parties which are completely independent and we are hopeful we could make a six figure sale."
BiB – which was launched in 2007 – has featured a range of renowned yoga, fitness and wellness instructors including Maya Fiennes, Baron Baptiste, Eoin Finn and Lara Baumann.
The channel sells programming into more than 12 countries and, according to its website, has a strong following in continental Europe, especially Germany and Switzerland, as well as across Asia.
The 2009 "Hot Bird TV" award winner for Lifestyle also sells DVD's of its programmes via its website and, in January 2010, launched an English/Mandarin language version of the channel in Taiwan.
It was originally the UK’s first channel dedicated entirely to leisure and health.
