Begbies hires new head of European restructuring 21 September 2010

Le Berre has over 20 years of European restructuring experience including advising clients ranging from Eurotunnel to a Middle East Sovereign Wealth Fund, a world leader in Tier 1 Automotive Equipment (US and European), a Germany-based world leader in Specialty Chemicals and a world leading Japanese Trading Company.  

His most recent previous roles have included managing director and European practice leader for Huron Consulting Group, managing  director European Special Situations for Close Brothers, Partner with Ernst & Young and with Andersen, consultant with the Boston Consulting Group as well as several hands-on operational roles in industry.

His appointment follows other senior hires into Begbies Traynor Group’s restructuring offering, including David Wilton who joined from PwC earlier in the year - David has worked on the restructuring of Cape Plc, McNicholas Construction (Holdings) Ltd, Sea Containers and also led the team advising the Strategic Rail Authority in respect of Connex South Eastern.
